Captain's LOg Oct 21,2010 #3

Captain's Log October 21 2010
Our second day has been good but not as fast as the first day. The waves are catching us on our port side and rolling the boat. A little uncomfortable but we have had worse. We have not had to start the main engine which says a lot about the sailing conditions. Early afternoon we poled out the jib and at about 10 tonight we took the main in. winds are almost directly behind us. Without the main the boat rolls more but our speed has increased. All in all a great day to be sailing the South Pacific. Boat is working great ,no mechanical issues, and crew is happy.
